I don’t think I shared a jazz piece before, so I thought I would share this composition sung by Ella Fitzgerald to brighten everyone’s Monday. “Skylark” [1941] was composed by Hoagy Carmichael (“Georgia on My Mind“ [1930]) with lyrics by Johnny Mercer (“Moon River” [1961]).

She is such an amazing singer. Most modern singers can’t hold a flame to her. Just that voice control is amazing! I haven’t heard this particular song by her.
